Organisation
Before work begins it’s crucial all areas have been organised. This includes pre work preparation e.g. making sure all rams have been signed off and the task briefing has been read and understood. Work area is set up in advance with all safety precautions and checks have been made on the machines. All operatives must be wearing the correct PPE and hearing protection.
Respect
Teamwork is fundamental in preventing accidents from occurring on site, therefore teamwork requires respect from all parties involved. When accidents happen on site it is important to understand that all operatives are responsible for the damage and outcome of the incident. This can result in life changing impacts for not only yourself but the operatives you are working with.
